Rocky provides strategic counsel and direct advocacy for corporate and nonprofit clients engaging Oregon’s legislative and executive branches. Whether representing globally recognized brands or Oregon’s home-grown industries, he is committed to tailoring strategies to clients’ individual needs. Rocky is active in a variety of policy areas, including agriculture, manufacturing, health policy, biotech, and tax. Rocky was previously a partner at Tonkon Torp, worked as in-house counsel for a large forest products company and has experience in strategic communications, grassroots organizing and campaigns.
While earning his undergraduate degree at Linfield College (where he was Student Body President), Rocky was a radio host, reporter and sportscaster for KSLC 90.3 FM. Today, his pastimes include rooting for his favorite sports teams – the Portland Trailblazers, OSU Beavers and Linfield Wildcats – and honing his BBQ skills.
