2024-25 OFS Internship: Analyzing Oregon’s Pesticide Stewardship Partnership Data

Last fall, OFS worked with Oregon State University student Isabella Nelson on an internship project focused on Oregon’s Pesticide Stewardship Partnership Program (PSP). For many years, OFS has raised issues with the data analysis and interpretation coming out of that program. Isabella’s role was to start with raw data, and reanalyze it using appropriate scientific protocols for this type of data set and methodology. Isabella’s work highlights a number of changes needed to improve data handling and in turn, tracking of program success and impacts.

Find out more about Isabella’s work at our upcoming Annual Conference, October 30th!

See below for a presentation delivered in June to the state’s Water Quality Pesticide Management Team (WQPMT), including staff from a number of state agencies.
