Jenny Johnson | Grassroots Coordinator
Jenny was born and raised on the Oregon coast and still resides in her hometown of Astoria. She holds a B.S. in Forest Engineering from Oregon State University. She spent 16 years working for the Oregon Department of Forestry, doing a variety of work including timber sale field work, contract preparation and administration, threatened and endangered species surveys, policy review and implementation, administering the Forest Practice’s Act, and much more. She left her job to focus more on her and her husband’s family construction and commercial fishing businesses and to raise their three children. Jenny is a strong advocate for natural resource management done in a sustainable and responsible way. She is proud to be a part of the Oregonians for Food and Shelter staff and is a loyal advocate for those in the farming, forestry, and fishing sectors in Clatsop County.
