Delani Herb | Operations & Communications Director
Born in Maine, Delani moved to Oregon in 2012 to attend Oregon State University. There she get a BA in Animal Science with a minor in Forest Management, a BA in Natural Resources, focused on Animal, Forest, and Rangeland ecosystems, and then returned for a Post BA in Sustainability. Throughout her career she has worked as a PIO on wildfire, a forester, and a conservation planner. Her family is in the grass seed industry and she is no stranger to long, dusty days during harvest. Most recently Delani was a Harvest Planner with Weyerhaeuser, where she got to help plan sustainable timber harvests. These combined experiences helped shape her passion for the natural resource industry and bring a unique experience to the team at OFS, starting in April of 2025. When not working, she is often found hiking with her dogs, taking care of the farm animals, or enjoying all the local food and drinks Oregon has to offer.
